Ordering samples

Choosing fabric online can be difficult, especially the first few times. Pictures don’t tell the whole story, because texture, weight and how the fabric feels to the touch often matter more than its colour on a screen—and screens also vary in how accurately they display colours. That’s why we offer samples. They’re designed to help you make an informed decision, without pressure or having to guess.

How samples work:

On each product page, you can select Get a sample.
The samples are a good size, so you can feel the texture, see how the fabric behaves and assess its thickness, softness and drape. This will help you decide whether the fabric is right for the project you have in mind. The samples are large enough to handle and get a good feel for the fabric.

Shipping and cost

The samples themselves are free. You only pay the shipping cost:

Posturinn: ISK 500 – untracked economy shipping

Dropp: ISK 990 – faster tracked shipping

Before you order:

There’s no limit on the number of samples (other than one per fabric). It’s a good idea to make the most of the shipping, so don’t hesitate to order more than just the ones at the top of your list.
