Volt - Indian block print in black and mustard yellow. Bagru block print with a classic grid pattern. Bagru is a small town in Rajasthan, about 35 km from Jaipur, known for its hand-stamped block print using traditional methods and natural dyes. Bagru prints are generally simpler and less colorful compared to Sanganer prints, which are more delicate and vibrant. Block printing is still practiced by the Chippa community, who have lived there for over 400 years.

Dyeing & care
– The fabric is hand-dyed. For the first 1–2 washes: place the fabric in the washing machine at 30–40°C with a tablespoon of table salt in the drum to fix the color and reduce color bleeding.
– Wash before cutting and sewing, as the fabric may shrink on the first wash.
– A mild detergent, preferably wool or silk soap, on a gentle setting, is recommended.
Handmade: As the fabric is handcrafted, minor irregularities in weaving or printing can be expected; this is part of the fabric's charm and is not considered a defect.
Note: Colors may appear differently depending on screens, and dyeing methods may yield slightly different results with each dyeing process.
Note: The fabric is narrow (114 cm). For patterns that assume a width of 140–150 cm, up to 25–30% more length might be needed — depending on the pattern and size.
