The A-line midi skirt is simple to sew with a modern finish.
It features an A-line cut, elasticated waist, and slanted side pockets. The pattern offers several variations to choose from: a traditional waistband, a "paper bag" waistband with belt loops and a belt, a straight hem, a rounded hemline, or a hem with elastic.

Use the skirt as a dress with a Cuff top made from the same fabric.
The pattern is especially suitable for a leather skirt.
Lengthen it into a maxi skirt or shorten it into a mini skirt.
Sew with contrasting thread to create noticeable details.
Use the "paper bag" version with a different belt to change the overall look.

Light to medium-weight fabrics are recommended, such as cotton poplin, denim, wool, or cotton twill.

Iron-on interfacing (fusible interfacing)
For a traditional waistband – 50 mm elastic:

For a "paper bag" waistband – 30 mm elastic:
