Light soft black organic cotton voile

The fabric is semi-sheer with a soft drape and can be used in a single layer or doubled. If used in a single layer, what is underneath will be visible, though less so with darker colors. Also suitable for linings and interlinings. Perfect for tops and dresses.

Organic cotton may contain tiny slubs in the thread, which are natural and not defects, but rather part of the fabric's natural texture. Wash at 30–40°C with a mild detergent, preferably wool or silk soap, on a gentle cycle. Always wash before cutting and sewing, as the fabric may shrink during the first wash.

This cotton is both Oeko-Tex® and GOTS certified.

Please note that colors may appear differently depending on screens, and dyeing methods can result in slightly different outcomes with each dye lot.

Note: The fabric is narrow (≈110–115 cm). For patterns that assume a width of 140–150 cm, you might need up to 25–30% more length — depending on the pattern and size.
