Russet extra weft - Kala cotton handwoven

Warm russet organic cotton fabric with a tiny white floral pattern woven in using the extra weft technique. Suitable for tops, dresses, skirts, shirts, and even light curtains.

Extra weft – what does that mean?
An additional weft where extra threads in another color are woven with the carrier threads to create a pattern.

Washing & care
– For the first 1–2 washes: put the fabric in the machine at 30–40°C with a tablespoon of table salt in the drum to help set the color.
– Wash before cutting and sewing, as the fabric may shrink during the first wash.

Handmade: As the fabric is handwoven, minor imperfections in the weave can be expected. This is part of the fabric's charm and is not considered a defect.

Note: Colors may appear differently depending on screens, and dyeing methods may give slightly different results in each dyeing.

Note: The fabric is narrow (≈110–115 cm). For patterns that assume a width of 140–150 cm, up to 25–30% more length may be needed — depending on the pattern and size.
