If you have a wide hip area, you might also want to check your hip measurement to ensure you get the "caftan flow" we're talking about.
You can play with shorter sleeves and/or a shorter hem on this dress to get varied use from the pattern. Additionally, the dress changes significantly with different fabric choices.
